The study/prepainting for my oil painting class which I start on monday. I finished making the canvas today, but I was still stumped on what I was going to do with it because we have to use impressionism techniques. My first idea was a mermaid type of thing, but I actually preferred this, because the colors/subject are nicer and more of that time period (well, the pre-raphaelites practiced around that time).
I can’t choose which one to do for my illustration assignment! D: Roommates say tough guy helping old lady across the street, but idk.
yes that is Machete cutting a chili pepper with his machete.
Another animation.
Clint Eastwood (as Blondie) and a Horned Desert Lizard
Illustration class assignment of my Hollywood crush. We had to take a celebrity and draw them with a ‘pet’ that had the characteristics of the celeb. When Clint was mentioned, I knew I had to do him! Pretty good for not really having a reference.
First time doing a photo-realistic painting. I know I could have made him more cartoony, but this was good practice I think & the sketch for this was the only one that turned out good.
yes.
I don’t really like it but it fits the assignment.
Going good so far. Now to just put the color glazes on it.
Rough concept for my next illustration assignment. I have illustration class tomorrow, so I’ll see if he approves of this before I finish it. The concept was that we were to illustrate a character based on a given list of foods (that everyone in the class wrote down what we had eaten in the past two days, randomly). My list had pizza, candy, pasta, cheeseburger, sandwhich, waffles (& beer, but we were allowed to take off one or two items). I either thought of a little boy that has no regard for health conciousness and eats whatever the hell he wants, or a fistpumping college frat boy that sits in his room on the xbox all day. @_@
I wanted to illustrate the person who got a list of “tea & nothing else,” but this is just as good.
Used Flapjack as my inspiration. <3
Second art project for illustration class. Theme: Bright as the Sun.
Considering I drew this in about half an hour, it isn’t bad. At least it’s done and I can move onto the next project fml.
80 sheets of paper used for that itty bitty little ball. I’m sorry trees!
